Product Introduction

The Horizontal High-Pressure Density Air Separator is a high-efficiency airflow sorting machine purpose-built for separating heavy and light materials in mixed solid waste. It specializes in precision sorting of materials with density differences, widely adapting to municipal solid waste, construction and renovation waste, aged waste, industrial residue, and recycled aggregate sorting scenarios. It serves as a core sorting unit for the solid waste resource recovery, waste classification, and recycled building material processing industries.

The machine features an enclosed settlement chamber. A variable-frequency fan system generates stable, controllable airflow. Heavy-light separation is achieved based on the force exerted by high-speed airflow on materials and their density differences. After entering the sorting chamber, materials spread evenly. Lightweight materials such as plastics, film, paper scraps, and textiles are carried by the airflow into the settlement and collection unit, while heavy materials such as brick, concrete, metal, and glass settle and discharge along gravity trajectories. During operation, the airflow remains consistently stable with clear trajectories, achieving non-contact high-efficiency separation. The fan system supports stepless speed regulation to adapt to different materials and purity requirements. Lightweight materials are separated from the airflow in the settlement chamber and centrally collected, while heavy materials are conveyed smoothly to the discharge outlet. This design thoroughly addresses common industry pain points such as screen mesh clogging, difficulty separating sticky materials, incomplete light contaminant removal, and severe wear.

The overall structure features user-centered engineering. The main body uses modular assembly for convenient maintenance. It is equipped with negative-pressure dust removal, sealed dust suppression, variable-frequency speed regulation, and an electrical overload protection system, balancing sorting efficiency, operational stability, and workplace safety. The equipment also delivers low noise, a low failure rate, and simple disassembly, inspection, and maintenance, substantially reducing equipment O&M costs and manual labor intensity, making it well-suited for long-term continuous industrial operation with exceptional versatility and practicality.

Key Advantages

The equipment delivers excellent overall airtightness with a reliable sealing design. Settlement chamber joints are sealed with sealant, and sealing gaskets are installed at all duct connections, effectively reducing air leakage and dust escape while ensuring stable overall airtightness. The equipment includes a dedicated dust removal unit that collects dust generated during operation in real time, significantly improving the on-site working environment and reducing dust pollution to meet environmental and workplace safety requirements.

The fan is equipped with a variable-frequency motor allowing adjustable impeller speed. Speed can be flexibly adjusted in real time based on material type, moisture content, specific gravity, and throughput, precisely matching the optimal sorting conditions, stably controlling airflow intensity and sorting trajectory, and effectively improving light/heavy material separation accuracy and purity to meet diverse material sorting requirements and ensure efficient, stable operation.

The settlement chamber uses modular bolted connections for screen panel mounting — common tools enable rapid sheet metal removal and replacement. The top filter of the settlement chamber uses a plug-in structure for instant removal and cleaning. The air outlet connects to the frame via swivel bolts — common tools enable installation, removal, and angle adjustment of the air outlet. Ducts and the main equipment body are connected using flexible hoses, effectively compensating for assembly tolerances and providing sufficient installation redundancy to prevent assembly failure due to manufacturing or installation deviations.

A professional electrical overload protection system automatically triggers an alarm and shuts down the equipment in the event of overload operation or current anomalies, preventing damage from overloading. The main structure uses galvanized steel plate with a modular design. The fan and motor are connected via V-belts, enhancing rotational stability and adapting to high-dust, high-impact complex operating conditions. The fully enclosed structure reduces dust erosion, while flexible sealing components and the vibration damping system reduce operating wear. The equipment demonstrates strong overall durability and extended service life.
